new Fit For Fun update occurred April 19th!! |
On behalf of the Get in Gear Board of Directors, Advisory Council and Race Committee we invite you to participate in the 24th running of the Get in Gear 10K and 2K. We are proud to be Minnesota's largest short distance race, the nation's 10th largest 10K and host of the award winning Fit for Fun 2K training program, making our 2K the largest kid's run in Minnesota.
We continue to strive for excellence in providing our participants with a high quality and well run event. We place importance on all participants, be they the top prize money winners or the age group winners and we enjoy rewarding our 2001st finisher with a $100 cash prize as well as every 500th official finisher receiving a $50 gift certificate from one of our running store sponsors. We continue to maintain true to our mission to help our sport grow by encouraging continued participation at every level.
In our 2nd year back to Minnehaha Park we will continue the courtesy bus shuttle service from the VAMC which will be offered from 7:00AM until 11:30AM. A baggage check area will also be provided for anyone wishing to utilize it.
